How I Can Help
Whether you’re a healthcare organization, nonprofit, government agency, or mission-driven business, I create evidence-based content that informs, engages, and inspires action.
Here’s how I can help:
- Develop high-quality, evidence-based content tailored to healthcare, public health, environmental health, toxicology, climate and health, and related industries.
- Translate complex scientific and medical information into clear, engaging content that your audience can understand and trust.
- Strengthen your brand’s credibility through clinically accurate, research-backed writing developed by an experienced nurse and public health professional.
- Create content that supports your goals, whether that’s educating patients, engaging healthcare professionals, advocating for policy change, or increasing brand awareness.
- Apply extensive experience in healthcare, public health, and toxicology to ensure your content reflects current evidence and best practices.
- Write with both strategy and purpose, creating content that builds trust, encourages engagement, and motivates readers to take action.
- Partner with you as a subject matter expert, delivering reliable, polished content on time and aligned with your mission.
Whether you need articles, blogs, patient education materials, white papers, newsletters, continuing education content, podcast support, or thought leadership pieces, I’m here to help you communicate with confidence and make a lasting impact.
Meet Your Writer

I’m LaDonna Gaines, DNP, MPH, RN, founder of The Environmentalist Nurse Collective, LLC, located in Alabama.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve built a career at the intersection of nursing, public health, and environmental health. My experience has taken me from bedside nursing, toxicology, and healthcare leadership.
My educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Health Systems Administration and Informatics and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Environmental Health and Toxicology. Throughout my career, I’ve remained passionate about translating complex scientific information into practical, accessible content that empowers healthcare professionals and the public alike.
Writing is an extension of my work as a nurse. Whether through articles, educational resources, website content, or my podcast, The Environmentalist Nurse, my mission is to make environmental health understandable, actionable, and relevant to everyday life.
When I’m not writing or recording podcast episodes, you’ll usually find me volunteering in my community, caring for my ever-growing collection of houseplants, spending time with my dog, or planning my next adventure. I believe education is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve both human health and the health of our planet—and I’m grateful to do work that supports both.
